Just as an author must master their language, a piano technician must master the theory of piano tuning. The technician must know what makes a proper tuning and how it is achieved, by ear and by machine. Once the technician has done so, they can achieve equally beautiful and correct tunings by both methods.

Piano Tuning
Why choose Fine Tuning to tune and service your piano? That was a question I asked myself before I started my business and it is what has driven me to improve the way I do business and try to set a new standard for piano technicians.
If you never plan to have your piano in a concert, why would it need to be at concert pitch? The answer is quite simple. That is the way your piano was designed to be tuned.
When a technician brings a piano up to pitch during a pitch raise, the first strings that are tuned will gradually go slightly back out of tune as the technician increases and equalizes the tension throughout the piano.
